Spring Cleaning: New Music for March

New Music for March

At the tail-end of SXSW and Treefort Music Fest, we know that Spring is finally in motion. What does that mean for Marmoset and fellow music lovers? There's fresh and new music emerging onto the scene — and it's all for our ears to indulge in.

This post is dedicated to highlighting all the new music that's been added to our catalogue this March. Keep reading to discover new licensable music from Marmoset's artists:

PREFUNC Marmoset New Music

Hailing from Portland, Oregon. PREFUNC is the work of music producer and sound designer, Jeff Bond. The creations are upbeat and electric — "Announcement" being a mesh of soulful, vintage beats with a side of synth.

PREFUNC keeps its listeners on their toes with musical arcs and electronic elements reminiscent of Daft Punk.

Emerging from Netherland's music scene, Vanra is a blend of EDM and hip hop, bringing lo-fi vibes with his musical creations.

At only 18 years old, Vanra's work is fresh sounding but far from expected. We recommend starting with Moon Secret for well placed layering and bass drops.

Coral Bones

Synth pop infused, Coral Bones brings a touch of 80's rock inspiration to its music. The cheery electronic vibes and light-hearted lyrics are channeling our early Spring outlook.

We recommend checking out Temples for a both whimsical and bright start to your leap into the new season.

Haley Joelle

At just 18 years old, Haley Joelle kickstarts her music career by placing No. 4 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart

A genre blend of dance and pop, Joelle makes her mark with empowering lyrics and upbeat rhythm.

Zoology is the epitome of Springtime — melodic, light and airy, listeners will feel as though they're floating through each song.

The collaborative duo hails from Canada, pairing an electric guitar with soft vocals for a fresh, catchy vibe. We recommend checking out Escape for a listener's first introduction.

We've got more new artists and music to check out in our complete "March: New Music" mixtape below. Listen or download the highlights — go, go, go!
