Interview with Wistia Producer, Chris Lavigne

Field Notes Interview #78: Chris Lavigne, Producer

Watch our recent video interview with Wistia producer, Chris Lavigne. WistiaFest will take place in Cambridge, Massachusetts on June 5-7, 2016. Next week, we'll be giving away two tickets to WisitaFest – contest details included below.

We're doing things a little different for this Field Notes Interview, and we couldn't imagine a better person to switch everything up with than one of our good friends at WistiaChris Lavigne

Wistia is one of the coolest and most innovative online video platforms on the internet. Not only are they curating and providing editing tools for filmmakers, they're also cultivating a community of filmmakers and creatives alike. Much of their vision is expressed through practicing what they preach: creating quality viral content. This is where Chris Lavigne comes in. He creates compelling visual content that not only gives strong brand stories -- his films also deliver a genuine aspect (and even a little humor) into the mix. There's a casual presentation in his content that's balanced with intention and clarity.

Now, in this very special edition of our Field Notes interview series, we thought it was best to have Chris use his medium to respond to our questions. Watch the video and enjoy.

Interested in attending WistiaFest this year? We're awarding two tickets to the top two winners of our Marmo Film Contest. Here's how to participate.

1. Create a 15 second film story — This can be about anything, just as long as it's one you're excited to show the world.

2. Share your story — Share your 15 second story by posting it to your Instagram and/or Twitter.

3. Join the conversation — When posting your story, tag us (@marmosetmusic) and use the hashtag #marmofilmcontest. That way, we can find and enjoy it.
