Next Thursday, the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Recording Academy (Grammys) is bringing some of the biggest modern influencers in the music landscape together to share their experiences on the state of music production.
The Studio Summit will be a roundtable discussion between legendary producer, Tucker Martine (Modest Mouse, Laura Veirs, Sufjan Stevens); Decemberists frontman, Colin Meloy; and Jim James of My Morning Jacket. The event takes place on Thursday, June 25th at Flora Studios & Playback (Tucker Martine's studio) from 5:30pm - 9:00pm. Each panel member will shine a light of perspective into the intricacies of recording and innovative production techniques.
This unique experience is one of the many amazing resources for blue-collar musicians that The Recording Academy provides. Our Co-Founder Ryan Wines sits on the Board of Governors for the The Pacific Northwest Chapter and we're honored to work behind the scenes in helping to make this wonderful event happen.
