We're taking a moment away from the grind and hustle of things to support something life changing and worthwhile right here in Portland, Oregon. We’re partnering with a school that gives low-income, underprivileged and marginalized children and families in Portland an opportunity to break the cycle.

We’re partnering with St. Andrew Nativity School  — Oregon's only tuition free, private middle school for students whose families live at or below the poverty line. Located in NE Portland, just off 9th and Alberta, the school draws students of all kinds around the Portland area and features small class sizes, giving the individualized attention necessary to raise student's learning by as much as 5 grade levels in only three years. It's rather amazing.

The bottom line measure of success you should know is that ninety-four percent (94%) of these students go on to graduate from high school and eighty percent (80%) go on to graduate from college. And in most cases, these children are the first of their family to accomplish either milestone. Furthermore, what these children go on to do and accomplish beyond college is the stuff dreams are made of.

The school is 100% scholarship based, meaning all tuition, costs, and related needs are completely taken care of for the student and their family. For many of these children, it's the education equivalent to winning the lottery.

Blitzen Trapper - a world renowned indie rock band, who's known to rock pretty hard at times, will be dialing things back for a very special and extremely rare all acoustic performance. How special is it? It's sort of the equivalent of seeing an albino elk under a full moon.  - Ryan Wines

The first 50 supporters to purchase tickets will also receive a CD copy of the bands newest release, "VII."
