With Musicfest Northwest (MFNW) fast approaching, we can't wait to host the 3rd installment of our Hott Summer Nights party this Thursday. In collaboration with MFNW and Mailchimp, we have an amazing lineup of music planned; we're honored to be hosting bands such as national acts Surfer Blood and The Love Language in such an intimate environment this year, making this one of the most exciting events we've hosted.
Hailing from Florida, Surfer Blood plays catchy guitar-driven fuzz rock brimming with surf-pop tendencies. Their electrifying, engaging melodies and composition are juxtaposed with crooning vocals making their sound complete and unique. Drawing from the moody skies of their state, their music is summery and colored with light hues, yet has a somber tinge creating interesting stories and emotions with their songs. This is a band on the rise and not to miss.
The Love Language
The innovative indie-pop music of Stuart McLamb (aka The Love Language) is many things, from piano driven love letter ballads, to bouncy guitar-rock that remains in anthemic glory. The many moods and elements of McLamb's music lay bare and complete in strong songwriting and raw emotion. Residing in Raleigh, NC, The Love Language present vibrant rock songs to sing and revel in.
What goes well with a party, you ask? Booze. Bunk Bar will be in full effect and Bulleit Bourbon will flow like a river. What goes well with booze? Food and Games. We'll have games like cornhole with a super secret taco truck to fulfill your hunger. Too young to get into this 21+ event? There's an underage viewing area in the parking lot so everyone can appreciate all of the music
With all of this great music and merriment taking place, all that's missing is your awesome self. Since there is a set capacity to the party, there are two ways to get in; either with a MFNW VIP and/or TechFest NW wristband, or by filling out the RSVP Form below.
