It's true, we're one day closer to our Musicfest Northwest Hott Summer Nights Party which means that we're right around the corner from bringing out some of our favorite bands to play in our new humble abode and we couldn't be more excited.
Not only will there be an incredible lineup of local and national acts playing intimate sets, we'll also have games like cornhole, a food cart, and Bunk Bar supplying enough Bulleit Bourbon to guide a rafting trip on. Without going much further though, there is a set capacity, and you can get in either with a MFNW VIP and/or TechFest NW wristband or by RSVP. if you haven't RSVP'd yet, please do so by filling out the form below and tell us all about your amazing self.
This event is 21+ but have no fear young ones; there will be an underage viewing area in the parking lot so everyone can enjoy the performances.
Now onto the bands...
Sonny & The Sunsets
Sonny Smith has been hopping from one genre to the next with each of his albums, from R&B to folk to garage all encapsulated in his musical vehicle destined for outer space. Smith's music is catchy and covers you in a blanket of lo-fi goodness. Whether by Sonny's witty lyricism or by the jangly guitar-laden melodies, you will be won over by their music one way or the other.
recently voted as Portland’s Best New Band, it’s no surprise that their
engaging throw-back crooning sound with a modern tinge has won the
hearts and ears of many. Their music speaks volumes to how creative it
is, from the wide array of textures to the soulful musings of lead
singer Elisabeth Ellison. From all of these different elements, what is
ultimately created is something very original and blends the vintage
with the modern in a very harmonious way. Not only do we love the music of Radiation City, but we have the honor of having these folks on our roster.
We love both of these bands, and they are only a part of an amazing lineup that will take place all day, so check out the full lineup and schedule HERE. See you soon.
