Daniel Sheron has been moving fast. In just 3 years, his band Balto formed in Brooklyn, then traveled across the country to quickly build as an up and coming Portland staple.
Much of his folk songs are inspired Sheron's own travels in Siberia and Moscow, but bare a rustic Americana perspective to them. His recent release Monuments gives space for reflection and opens up with honesty and introspection. Much of the songs rely heavily on the sense of collaboration and you can hear it from the music as it explores many landscapes and stories.
Just coming back from his east coast tour, we're really excited to work with Balto and travel along with him and his new stories.
