In the event you're looking for yet one more reason to join in the fun for Marmoset's MusicFest NW Party at Rontoms on Sunday (tomorrow), press play on the video below and give a look/listen to the most gorgeous sounds of Great Wilderness.
The Portland Mercury recently had this to say about the band's new EP:
"Ahhh, that overwhelming melty feeling when your brain's folk-amine receptors are being satiated. Dissolve into Great Wilderness' airy feminine harmonies, elegant cello, and sweet, sweet banjo (soooooo sweet). The new Portland band recently produced a flawless debut EP in the form of Rest, and it promises—pinky swears, even—to melt your heart..."
If you want your heart melted, Great Wilderness performs at 2:30pm SHARP - so get there early, grab a frosty Raineer for a buck, and cozy up to the big outdoor stage for some of the most lovely harmonies this town has to offer.
Marmoset's MusicFest NW Party is FREE and will feature dollar beer all day, in addition to an extended happy hour and Portland's own Sizzle Pie on the back patio. No wristband or tickets are required, as this is not an official part of the proper MusicFest NW music festival. Fourteen band rotating seamlessly between two stages means non-stop goodness to be had by all on the final day of MFNW.

See you tomorrow! - Ryan
