A Celebration of Artistic Collaboration
We're excited to announce the fourth installment in our A/VEC (Audio/Visual Experiential Collaboration) series, which will take place on Thursday, November 9th at Marmoset HQ (2105 SE 7th Ave.).
The A/VEC series is inspired by a curiosity to explore what a filmmaker and a musician can dream up, create and execute when paired together, with a limited amount of time, direction, and with mutual anonymity — including absolutely no communication between the two parties. Once selected for the project, the filmmaker is given one month to create and produce a short film, which is then discreetly delivered (via Marmoset) to a musician/band, who then has 10 days to write, arrange and produce a complete soundtrack. This soundtrack is then premiered live in front of the filmmakers and a live audience at the A/VEC event. Watch scenes from our last A/VEC event here.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the film will begin at 7pm sharp. We can't tell you who we've selected for this collaboration, but you can check out a sneak peek of the film below.
This is an invite-only event, and we'd love for you to join us for the film screening, and the Q+A with the artists following. Seats are limited, so please make sure to fill out the RSVP form below as soon as possible. See you there!
