Who knew? Marmoset Ranked #2 In Inc.'s List Of Portland's 10 Fastest Growing Companies

We're floored, humbled, and in a little bit of disbelief over here. But more than anything, we're sincerely honored to be listed as #2 in Inc. Magazine's list of fastest growing companies in Portland

Inc.'s annual list of growing companies polls the nation and curates a detailed listing of the 5000 fastest growing private companies, further filtered into their top 500. This year, we made the cut and are humbled to be joined by fifty-five other Oregon companies that also made it on the list this year. Check out Inc.'s article below.

Thinking back to our scrappy start-up days in 2010 when Ryan, Eric and Brandon were cramped into a dark, tiny basement in North Portland, while Brian was simultaneously composing and producing music in his garage across town in SE Portland, it's amazing to see how things have evolved, grown and matured. No matter where we've found ourselves during our short, almost 5 year timeline as a company, we've always remained finely focused on three things:

1. Care, respect and advocacy for the artists we work with on both sides of our world -- the musicians and the filmmakers and visual creatives.

2. The quality of our work: curating and creating the best, most authentic, unique and compelling independent music available on the planet for use with picture.

3. The quality of life, care, and the love of our people -- our staff, our creative partners, friends, family, the artists we work with, and the community we're surrounded by.  At the end of the day, happiness, care for one another, having fun, and quality of life always trump the bottom line at Marmoset. It's the essence of who we are.

With these three core values forming the lense for which we see and engage the world with, we've somehow forged a path to grow and evolve into something far greater than any of us could've ever imagined in the beginning.

From everyone here at Marmoset, thank you for all of the support and love. We couldn't do any of this without all of our family, friends, and collaborators.

Onward!
