Here's How Vimeo's New "Cameo" App Is Changing The Video Sharing Game.

The newly updated Cameo app is upping the video editing and sharing game. Here's how...

Just released into the world yesterday, this badass new mobile app allows you to import videos from your device, edit them with intuitive tools, and choose from a great library filled with different genre categories of music to provide a soundtrack. Once you're done, it's immediately shared to your Vimeo page—or keep it private if you just want to share with friends. In either case, Cameo is elevating the way we share our experiences through beautifully-crafted films.

We're excited to be teaming up with the Vimeo + Cameo crew as a collaborative music partner in helping curate songs and soundtracks for specific uses within the Cameo App. Our Music Supervision team worked closely with Cameo's Co-Founder and Head of Music, Michael Constantiner to hand pick music that would best resonate with Cameo's community of users.  -- good film deserves good music.

Here's a challenge for you -- we invite you to make your own Cameo film.

1. Watch our Cameo-created film Game Time below -- shot by Community Ambassador, Stirling Myles. We used the track "Midtown Maxi" by Music Supervisor, Ron Lewis.

2. Download the Cameo App here.

3. Download Game Time without a soundtrack here.

4. Remix the video! Edit it to your liking and choose the soundtrack that you feel best fits from Cameo's music library.

5. Share it with us at sharing@marmosetmusic.com or on your channels using #marmovision. We'll feature our favorites on the journal next week.
